The Sentina Nature Reserve

In about 30 minutes by car you can reach the nature reserve of Sentina, the smallest nature reserve in the Marche region.

The national parks ‘Monti Sibillini’ and ‘Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga’ are worthwhile day trips. You will be rewarded with spectacular mountain scenery, varied hikes and romantic mountain villages.
Monti Sibillini National Park
The 2,479 m high Monte Vettore is the highest peak of the Monti Sibillini National Park.
After about 70 kilometers of driving, you will reach the National Park Monti Sibillini. The National Park, is worth seeing, impresses from the end of June to July with colorful wildflower meadows on the Piana di Castelluccio plateau.
The Monti Sibillini National Park offers numerous hiking trails with different degrees of difficulty. Horseback riding, paragliding or hang gliding are also offered.

Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park
The Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park is one of the most spectacular landscapes in Italy.
This national park is located between the Marche region and Abruzzo.
In the national park you can make excursions and hikes of different levels of difficulty. There are also numerous excursions for families with small children.

The Marche region is one of the Italian regions with the most cultural assets: beautiful squares, countless restored monuments, castles, fortresses, churches and abbeys.
Ascoli Piceno
Ascoli Piceno, the capital of the province, should not be missed.
Ascoli Piceno, is a must-see city. By car, it can be reached in just 45 minutes.
The heart of the town is the beautiful main square, Piazza del Popolo, paved with travertine stone. It is considered one of the most beautiful squares in Italy.
Ascoli Piceno offers its visitors many places of interest, such as the Palazzo dei Capitani, the historic Café Meletti, the Pinacoteca, the Archaeological Museum and the Malatesta Fortress.
Ascoli Piceno with its beautiful ‘Piazza del Popolo’ is worth a visit.
Fermo
Fermo, a picturesque hill town in southern Marche, is well worth a visit.
Fermo, picturesquely situated on a hill, stands out from afar with its cathedral. Fermo’s cathedral dates back to the 13th century. A guided tour of the 30 Roman underground cisterns, which served as water reservoirs in the first century B.C., is highly recommended.

Offida
Offida combines tradition and culture and is definitely worth a visit
The historic center of Offida is striking with its narrow streets and its lively squares. Offida is also known for the ancient tradition of bobbin lace-making, which local women have carried on for centuries.
The church of Santa Maria della Rocca, perched on a cliff, is one of the most important spots in Offida. This charming church dates back to the 14th century.
Also worth seeing is the Serpente Aureo Theater, built in the shape of a horseshoe.
The former Franciscan convent of San Francesco, dating back to the 13th century, is located in the center of Offida. Today the building, which has been completely renovated, houses the Marche regional enoteca.
The charming town of Offida is not to be missed.
